2017 Multicultural Greek Leadership Summit
"Representing Our Identity, Cultivating Future Impacts"
The third annual Multicultural Greek Leadership Summit will feature Keynote speakers Lasana Hotep and Mary Gonzalez. Lasana Hotep is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and currently works with the Harbor Institute, the leading experts in Multicultural Greek Organizations. Mary Gonzalez* (D-TX) is the former President of Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc. and currently serves as a House Representative for the people of El Paso. This summit will focus on community building, leadership development, recruitment skill development and creating a shared vision.
This year, we are inviting all multicultural Greek organizations from the Pacific Northwest to attend the event. As our communities continue to grow, it is important that support each other across campuses. We have extended invitations to multicultural Greek organizations at the University of Idaho, Eastern Washington University, Lewis Clark State College, Heritage University, the University of Oregon, Oregon State University and the University of Washington.
This year, the MGLS is part of the Harbor Institute's RoadTrip(R) Series.
*The second keynote is currently being scheduled.
