United Greek Association Recruitment
United Greek Association chapters, both fraternities and sororities, recruit through a process known as intake. The intake process for every chapter is defined by its inter/national/local organization. Membership intake is a unique experience from other Greek recruitment events. Membership intake consists of you learning about Multicultural Greek Organizations, you attending an informational meeting about the organization (e.g. informational, interest meeting, or tea), you submitting your application directly to the organization of your interest, gaining verification of grades and other requirements, gaining approval from the organization, starting the new member education process, participating in initiation and ultimately having a new member presentation/probate where the community comes to find out who the organization's new members are. The entire new member education process is secret for most organizations so most people will not know that you are a new member until your new member presentation. Nothing is better than getting to see hundreds of supporters coming out to see you and your line brothers/sisters!

It is up to you to learn about the organization that you want to join. Are you interested in an organization that does more service or is more involved in leadership position on campus? Are you interested in an organization's history over anothers?
