Delta Xi Phi Multicultural Sorority, Inc.

EST. 1994

Delta Xi Phi Multicultural Sorority, Incorporated is a national multicultural sorority based upon five pillars – increasing multicultural awareness, the advancement of women through higher education, community service, friendship, and sisterhood. Our sisterhood was founded in 1994 at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, was a chartering member of the National Multicultural Greek Council, and has become one of the largest and fastest growing multicultural Greek letter organizations in the country with 23 chapters nationwide.

We pride ourselves on exposing our members and the campus community where we have chapters to different cultures and backgrounds through strong programming around diversity. Our chapters are often recognized by their Greek Life offices and on their campuses for offering innovative, meaningful learning and conversations around multiculturalism.

We also enhance the diversity experiences of our members and Greek and university communities by building relationships across individuals with different backgrounds and life experiences. At a national level, our organization is leading the way for multicultural Greek organizations in the area of transgender-inclusive policies; here is a recent article on our policies in the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors Essentials magazine:
