Chi Sigma Alpha National Sorority, Inc.
Chi Sigma Alpha National Sorority, Inc. was established at the University of Washington on September 25th, 2002. Nine strong women wanted to build a sorority based on improving scholarship, character, and leadership among women. Washington State University recognized the Colony of Chi Sigma Alpha on March 9th, 2013. We are an Asian-American interest sorority, but not Asian exclusive.
We seek to aid all members of the community with a focus on underprivileged and challenged children. Our national philanthropy is the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a charitable organization that helps to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening conditions.
Our Sorority’s purpose is to promote awareness and understanding of the Asian-American culture. We also want to provide women with opportunities for leadership and growth as well as inspire others to give back to our community. Lastly, we want to encourage and challenge active sisters to pursue academic excellence in their college careers.
